Old Haileyburians Return to The Berkshire Golf Club for the Silver Tassie

We were delighted to return to The Berkshire Golf Club for our second year competing in the Silver Tassie, fielding an Old Haileyburian team of four. Representing Haileybury were Sports Fellow Hallie Copping-Jones (Hailey, 2021), Mia de Marchi (Hailey, 2023), Catherine Doel (Albans & Allenby, 1981) and Captain Lindsay Barnes (Melvill, 2008), with wonderful support from OHs along the course.

With 28 schools and 112 female golfers taking part, the standard was exceptionally high. Following our silver plate success last year, we played strongly once again, though the competition proved tough and we were unable to place this time.

It was nevertheless a brilliant day of golf, camaraderie and team spirit.
