We were delighted to welcome back a special group of individuals closely connected to Haileybury for a memorable lunch in the Master’s Garden this Saturday. Our guests included former pupils who are also parents of current or former Haileybury pupils, representing a truly multi-generational link to the School.
The afternoon began with drinks on the lawn, offering a relaxed opportunity to reconnect, share memories and meet familiar faces from both their own time at Haileybury and their children’s experiences. Although the weather proved changeable, the celebrations continued seamlessly indoors with a delicious lunch, providing the perfect setting for further conversation and reminiscence.
Following lunch, guests enjoyed optional boarding house and site tours, which prompted plenty of funny stories! For some, it was their first visit back in several years, and we were delighted to show how the School continues to grow while cherishing its history.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special. Our thanks go to the events team for their adaptability and to the catering team for a wonderful spread. It was a pleasure to host such an important group within our community; families whose connection to Haileybury spans generations. It is especially heartening to see Haileybury chosen time and again by the same families.
We are grateful for the opportunity to reconnect with such valued members of our community and look forward to staying in touch.
