Futures Fair 2026 – Guidance from Mentors and University Reps

This year’s Futures Fair provided a fantastic opportunity for our L6 pupils to engage with a group  of inspiring Flash Mentors and University Representatives.

Through a series of dynamic workshops, Anna Christofis (current parent) and Rhiannon Ludlow (Hailey, 2010) equipped pupils with practical, real-world skills to support their next steps. From crafting compelling CVs to optimising LinkedIn profiles, these sessions were designed to give pupils a competitive edge as they begin to explore their future pathways.

Our University Representatives also offered invaluable, first-hand insight into life beyond Haileybury. Maksym Astapov (Thomason, 2025) – Loughborough University, Callum McGurk (Kipling, 2021) – Newcastle University and LSE, Joey Wedge (Kipling, 2023)-University of Edinburgh and Michel Zeitoun (Lawrence, 2020) -University of St Andrew’s, shared thoughtful advice on navigating the transition to higher education and making the most of your time at university. Their perspective gave pupils a clearer, more confident understanding of what lies ahead.

Following the Fair, the attendees enjoyed a tour of the campus and the chance to revisit their boarding houses, including a heart warming catch up with their matrons. We are very grateful to all our volunteers for the time and expertise they shared with our pupils, helping to inspire and support them as they think about their next steps beyond School.
