We are delighted to share that, thanks to the generosity of the Haileybury community, we have raised an incredible £11,345 for the Richard Haslam MUN Memorial Fund, surpassing our original target of £10,000.
This wonderful achievement will enable pupils who share Richard’s passion for global debate and diplomacy to participate in Model United Nations conferences, regardless of financial circumstances.
Oliver Hirschfield (Edmonstone, 2014) MUN Coordinator and friend to Richard added:

The experiences that MUN presents can be life-changing, and your generous donations allow Haileybury pupils to learn and practise key skills by alleviating financial constraints which would otherwise make this impossible.
Richard would have been immensely touched that so many individuals are helping to remove the barriers that could prevent others from having the same experiences he did while at Haileybury.“
The enthusiasm for MUN shown by Haileybury pupils across generations has undoubtedly contributed to the success of this campaign. Their commitment, dedication and shared passion, alongside the generosity of our community, ensure that Richard’s legacy continues to inspire.
